A Charleston, West Virginia-based pharmacist with more than 25 years of experience, Philip E. Michael most recently practiced in this capacity at Aracoma Drug Company and previously worked at Rite Aid Corporation. Beyond his professional pursuits as a pharmacist, Philip Michael enjoys playing and watching basketball.
Only five players in the National Basketball Association (NBA) history have recorded more than 1,000 career assists. Below are the top three leaders in that category:
1. John Stockton - Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009, Stockton was a 10-time All-Star point guard who spent his entire 19-year career with the Utah Jazz. He retired in 2003 with 15,806 assists.
2. Jason Kidd - Selected second overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1994 NBA Draft, Kidd was a 10-time All-Star and nine-time All-Defensive team member. He led the NBA in assists in five seasons and finished his career with 12,091 assists.
3. Steve Nash - A two-time MVP, Nash recorded 10,335 assists in 1,217 career regular-season games split between the Phoenix Suns, Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
