American Pharmacists Association Pharmacist Membership


With over two decades of experience as a pharmacist in the West Virginia area, Philip Michael previous practiced in Alum Creek. Founded in 1852 as the American Pharmaceutical Association, APhA is considered the largest association of pharmacists in the US. With over 60,000 members, APhA keeps professionals in the pharmaceutical industry connected and informed.

The association offers five membership categories for prospective members, including the pharmacist membership, which can be digital or engaged. The digital pharmacist membership is for licensed professionals most interested in education and information. It offers digital access to APhA journals and Pharmacy Today, as well as news and information about drugs and current pharmacy practices.

The APhA engaged membership offers everything in the digital membership along with more educational opportunities. The engaged membership also provides access to member discounts on training and books, as well as access to a members-only online community and legislative and regulatory updates.
